There are are a dozen or so postscript files in the tar file

	sirius.wr.usgs.gov /ftp/pub/plots.tar

These are some preliminary sepctra of samples taken with the MSI. A
constant DC of 88 was subtracted (which is only an estimate). The data
are averaged over boxes roughly 40 x 40 pixels or so... These were made
mostly to satisfy myself that my software reads the data in and outputs a
somewhat reasonable set of plots. I was quite pleased that these ROUGH
plots actually look pretty reasonable. Of course they will be redone
after a more thourough calb is completed...

Having seen my posting of this file, Mark then sent me the following message, in which he asks me to append a prominent warning that the graphs are rough and will be replace:

Hi Mike!!! Long time no see/hear!!! Hope all is well... I am a little
worrried about those ever being used for more than what they are...
Please put a prominent warning that they are very rough and will be
replaced in the near (no pun intended) future!

Thanks a million!
